Case filed for attempted murder of medical student in Lahore

LAHORE: A case was registered here late Thursday night against unknown persons for attempted murder of a private medical college student, Geo News reported.

The case, which was filed on behalf of victim Rizwan's brother in the Mughalpura police station, includes the charge of attempted murder, police said, adding that the student's neck bears wound marks.

Rizwan was allegedly stabbed in the neck and thrown off from the second floor of a building in the Shalimar area.

The victim's family has demanded Chief Minister Punjab ShehbazSharif takeappropriate action against the suspects.
