Tremors felt in Mastung district of Balochistan

Earthquake measured 4.4 on Richter scale as per National Seismic Monitoring Centre

QUETTA: Tremors were felt in Mastung district and adjoining areas Sunday morning.

People rushed out of their houses and shops in fear as soon as the earthquake was felt. According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the earthquake was measured to be 4.4 on the Richter scale, which emerged from Kalat.

However, no loss of life was reported.

On June 26, an earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale shook numerous cities in the country’s north-eastern region.

The earthquake that was felt in Lahore, Islamabad, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had its epicenter in one of the peaks in the Hindukush mountain range.
