PIA mismanagement in Hajj operations continues

KARACHI: The mismanagement by the national flag-carrier PIA in Hajj operations continued till last flight that landed today at Karachi airport two hours late and leaving the luggage of many pilgrims in Jeddah, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to the PIA authorities, 468 pilgrims arrived via flight no PK-3260 after a two hours delay. PIA completed its Hajj operation 2010 in 251 flights.

The luggage left in Jeddah would be brought by another flight today at 10:00 pm. Sources told Geo News that PIA authorities in Jeddah fail to handle the pilgrims' baggage properly. Many hajis have to leave for their hometowns without their belongings.
