Man killed in SITE; woman injured in Liaquatabad

KARACHI: A man was killed with gunshot in Site Area; while, another woman was injured in a firing incident in Liaquatabad, Geo News reported Sunday.

According to police, a group of three men and three women hailing from a dance troupe in Site Area, were on their way back home after a show here, when some armed men riding a taxi tried to force women along with them.

Resisting their attempt, Dance Group member, Sher Khan, 28, was shot down.

Body of a man was recovered from Gulshan-e-Iqbal-I. Talking to Geo News, the bereaved family said Muhammed Sohail, 26, was strangulated to death. However, according to police, the deceased was a drug-addict and the same is the cause of his death.

A woman Sumera was wounded near Liaquatabad-7 in firing incident by unidentified people.
