POL prices touch record highs

KARACHI: The POL prices are soaring to record level after the recent price hike in the country in effect from January 1.

Petrol price was hiked the maximum by 9.2 percent namely Rs. 6.71 per liter, targeting the low-income motorcyclists, who are feeling the plight the most.

It should be mentioned here that HOBC used in vehicles by the rich, was raised at minimum i.e. 7.69 percent less than that of petrol.
