Protesting students demand varsity administration hold supplementary tests after having failed in exams

KARACHI: Students of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology on Wednesday blocked entry and exit doors of the campus following a dispute with administration over supplementary examinations.

The protesting students said they failed in examinations and demanded the varsity administration hold supplementary tests.

On the other hand, the administration has the stance that it cannot allow supplementary exam given the rules of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

But the students are adamant not to reopen varsity gates until their demands are not met.
