KARACHI: Law enforcement authorities (LEAs) took into custody 25 suspects following various operations conducted Tuesday night in different areas of the metropolis, they said.
Four suspects were detained during a raid carried out last night in the city's Baldia Town. It was not revealed what they arrestees were accused of.
In another search operation conducted in OrangiTown, security officers rounded up 20 suspects and recovered contraband from the detainees.
LEAs also took into custody a gutka manufacturer in SITE area, they said, during a raid conducted Tuesday night.
Police stated thatthey also seized the gutka manufacturing machine.
Police apprehended 21 suspectsTuesday night following search operations carried out in various areas of Vehari.
Arms, liquor, and drugs were recovered from the suspects, police added.
