President felicitates new office bearers of RIUJ

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended warm felicitations to the newly elected President, General Secretary and other office bearers of the Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ).

In his message of greetings to the newly elected RIUJ President Tahir Rathore and other office bearers, the President said that their election is a reflection of confidence and manifestation of the trust of RIUJ members upon their able leadership and professional excellence.

The President reiterated the government's resolve on freedom of media and expressed the hope that the newly elected RIUJ representatives would work for the welfare and well-being of the journalists community.
