Blast at rail track near Kotri station

HYDERABAD: Rail track near Kotri railway station has been blown up with explosives early on Saturday, Geo News reported.

Railways sources told Geo News that a feet-long portion of track was damaged by explosion, suspending the rail traffic in result.

Meanwhile, police and bomb disposal squad have arrived on the crime scene after the incident.

It may be mentioned here that at least five blasts took place at up and down rail tracks from Karachi to Ghotki in Sindh on Thursday night, in which two persons sustained injuries near Karachi.

Later, the train service had been soon resumed after repair work on tracks.
