ICC pleaded to review ban on Aamir: Butt

LAHORE: Chairman PCB Ejaz Butt has said that the cricket board has officially filed appeal with ICC seeking review over ban on Mohammed Aamir, clarifying that the final decision would rest with ICC, Geo News reported Saturday.

Interviewing with Geosuper program ‘Super Exclusives’, PCB Chairman said board is bound to follow ICC’s regulations that is being unable to respond on decision unless tribunal completes its proceedings.

However, being hopeful for positive results, he said that ICC had expressed readiness to bring under discussion PCB’s request during council’s meeting.
