Former FATA senator’s son shot dead

KARACHI: Roaidad Khan, the son of former Senator FATA Sakhi Jan, has been gunned down near Gulshan chowrangi here late Monday night, Geo News reported.

According to police sources, unidentified gunmen ambushed his car by firing which resulted in his death on the spot.

Also, his driver received injuries in the process, who was immediately admitted to hospital for medication.

Deceased Roaidad Khan would run a transport business here in Karachi and was hailing from Mehsud clan.

The dead body has been deposited at Jinnah Hospital for autopsy where a large number of his friends, relatives and bereaved family members were present.

His father, former Senator Fata Sakhi Jan, would be Senator during second tenure of Benazir government.
