KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) chief Pir Pagara has said that the clash between the PPP and MQM is just because the minds of both parties do no correlate with each other.

Talking to the media at the residence of former adviser to Sindh chief minister Imtiaz Sheikh at a luncheon meeting on Monday, he said the PPP and MQM were like feuding kittens which when placed in a bag would fight each other. To another question as to which is the most disciplined political party in the country, he said it was the Army.

He said the elections in the country would be held after 20 to 25 years and in the meantime the Army would prevail and provide relief to the masses. He did not comment further as to whether or not he meant the imposition of martial law soon.

About the construction of Kalabagh Dam, he questioned as to how the dam could be built when there was no money even for essential foodstuffs. Imtiaz Sheikh said it was after decades that Pir Sahib had visited any other place outside Kingri House. MQM senior minister Sardar Ahmed and former National Assembly Speaker Elahi Bux Soomro were also present on the occasion.
