13 beggars caught

FAISALABAD: Thirteen beggars were caught during a campaign in different parts of Faisalabad here on Friday.

According to Executive District Officer (EDO) Community Development Ashiq Dogar, Shafiq was caught from Dhuddiwala, Zahoor from GTS Chowk, Hasnain and Zuhra from Sitiana Road, Zahid from Allied Mor, Yaseen and Rasheeda from Abdullah Pur, Bhikki from Railway Road, Dhallon from Jaranwala Road, Javaid from Samanabad, Saeed from Sammundri Road, Qasim from Karkhana Bazaar and Sadiq from Chenab Chowk.

The female beggars were sent to Dar-ul-Amaan while male beggars were kept at Old Leprosy House on Jhang Road where arrangements were made for their education and rehabilitation, he added.
