HEC announces foreign funded scholarship programme

ISLAMABAD: Higher Education Commission here on Monday announced the foreign funded scholarship programmes for Pakistani and Azad Jammu Kashmir students for the master, PhD and post graduate study programme for the academic session 2011-2012.

The award will be made on the basis of academic achievement, potential of candidate and the development impact of proposed study and research, an official of Higher Education Commission told on Monday.

Official informed that Higher Education Commission offer of fellowship by the National University of Singapore (NUS) Singapore for the year 2012 and closing date for NUS fellowship May 31 May, 2011.

Official also told that Commonwealth -CSFP Endowment Fund offer of scholarship, fellowships in various countries for the academic year 2011-12 and closing date is June 15. (APP)
