Physical remand of accused in Zara Shahid murder case extended

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) extended the physical remand of Irfan alias Lamba who is accused in the murder case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zahra Shahid.

The physical remand of the accused was extended till April 22.

Zara Shahid was gunned down outside her residence in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi in May, 2013, the day before re-polling in NA-250.

Three other suspects accused in the murder case Kalimullah, Zahid Abbasi and Rashid alias Tailor have already been arrested by the police.
