RAWALPINDI: No officer of Pakistan Army maintains an official account on any social media platform, the director general of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.
"Neither DG ISI nor any other officer of Pakistan Army maintains an official account on any social media platform," Major General Asif Ghafoor wrote in his tweet.
"The official accounts are of spokesperson only DG ISPR."
The DG ISPR also shared a tweet from another account professing to be of Lt Gen Asim Munir, director general of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
He requested the masses to treat all such accounts as fake.
