Malik counsel to Black Water, target killers: JI

KARAHCI: Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik is an advocate to the US’s covert agency ‘Black Water’ and target killers operating in Karachi, said Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Munawar Hassan.

Holding Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) responsible for violence in Karachi, Munawar said that the menace of target killing would never be abolished as long as MQM was a part of coalition government.

Addressing a conference titled Education and Stability in Karachi, JI Ameer said revisiting ZA Bhutto murder case would be akin to opening the ‘Pandora Box’.

“PPP leaders were too involved in getting Zulfiqar Bhutto executed,” he alleged.

He termed decision to devolve Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a dishonest act of the government.

Only reformed political system can yield development in education sector, he added.
