GWADAR: Five labourers were shot dead by unidentified persons on Wednesday night while they were working inJiwani area of the port city of Gwadar.
According to Levies officials, the labourers were busy working at the construction site of a private housing scheme in Ganz neighbourhood of Jiwani when they were shot dead by the suspects, who fled.
Three other labourers were wounded in the incident.
The deceased and the injured hail from Karachi, Sukkur, Peshawar and Khuzdar, Levies officials said.
The bodies of the deceased were shifted to Civil Hospital Gwadar and then dispatched to their native towns.
