Four injured as armed, angry group of people tries to forcefully shutdown Karachi shop

KARACHI: Four people were injured after a group of people attempted to forcefully have a shop closed down Friday night here in the city's Gulistan-e-Johar area, police said.

According to the authorities, a group of people, armed with pistols, opened fire in a shop in Gulistan-e-Johar's Pehlwan Goth when the shopkeepers retaliated after being ordered to close it down.

The angry group also baton-charged the shopkeepers, resulting in four people being wounded.

Some three people allegedly involved in the attack on thePehlwan Goth shop were arrested, police said, adding that they had registered a first information report (FIR) of the incident.
