KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said Wednesday that taking mega corruption cases to their logical end was their top priority.
The NAB chief said so during his visit to NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where he was briefed by the director general (DG) NAB KP on mega graft cases.

He said they took files of cases out of cupboards and filed 440 references in the courts this year, maintaining that the NAB had zero tolerance policy against corruption.
Iqbal lamented that negative propaganda was being done about the anti-corruption watchdog, saying that they believed in fighting this propaganda.
He said the NAB would also take corruption cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to their logical end.
"NAB cannot be silenced through threats," the chairman asserted, saying they were taking every step remaining within the ambit of law.
