ISLAMABAD: Information Secretary of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Wednesday that the government would respond to suggestion of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) regarding constitution of Judicial Commission on the Osama issue in consultation with coalition partners.
"The government will respond to the PML-N suggestion of constituting Judicial Commission on the Osama issue after consulting the allied political parties," he said while talking to media outside the Parliament House.
He said Osama was enemy of Pakistan and for the entire world. Due to Osama, international community has been pointing finger at Pakistan, he added.
Kaira said Pakistan's sovereignty has been challenged by the US forces in the Abbottabad operation.
However, he said, Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan would respond with full force if its sovereignty will challenge again.
Pakistan rendered unmatched sacrifices in the war against terrorism, which was acknowledged by the world, he said adding that the menace claimed thousands of precious lives.
"Innocent people including women, children and personnel of Pakistan Armed Forces had lost their lives while combating the menace of terrorism and extremism," Kaira said.
He said Pakistan's total population was around 200 million and it was difficult to register and monitor each and every citizen with meager resources.
To a question, he said Pakistan's Armed Forces were fully alive all along the Indian border.
