MUZAFFARGARH: At least three people were killed and more than 20 injured in a traffic accident early Friday morning here on Jhang Road, authorities said, when a passenger bus lost control and hit a truck parked on the side.
According to rescue officials, the three deceased died on the spot.
Officials also said they had to cut open the bus to recover the dead bodies and rescue the wounded passengers inside. The injured folks, which include women and children, were moved to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
The passenger bus was going from Sakhi Sarwar to Faisalabad.
