HAFIZABAD: Four men allegedly gang-raped a woman on the outskirts of a city here Friday night, authorities said, adding that they have arrested one of them.
According to police officials, the woman had hailed a rickshaw to go and buy medicines from a nearby market when the driver, instead, took her to an empty house where the rapists were waiting.
The survivor, police noted, was shifted to a local hospital for medical tests. Of the four, one rapist was arrested following an operation; however, the rest managed to escape.
