LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday said that it took Prime Minister Imran Khan nine months to copy former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif's housing projects.
The statement by the PML-N spokesperson came in reaction to the prime minister's address with the inauguration ceremony of Naya Pakistan Housing Programme.
The PML-N spokesperson questioned how was Shehbaz's Ashiana-e-Iqbal housing scheme forbidden and his was justified.
She termed the inauguration of Naya Pakistan Housing Programme "action replay of PM House university drama", congratulating Khan for copying another project of the former Punjab chief minister.
Aurangzeb, in her statement, said Shehbaz Sharif had laid the foundation of Ashiana-e-Iqbal and Ashiana-e-Quaid housing schemes in 2011.
"Not just these schemes were completed, but hundreds of thousands of people have been living there," she said.
The PML-N spokesperson said it took the premier nine months to copy Shehbaz's project, which was completed in 2 years.
"Neither they can build houses, nor can they initiate bus service. They can only make fool out of people," she said, urging the masses to stay alert as the biggest fraud of the history of Pakistan was about to be committed.
Aurangzeb said 5 million housing units promised by the PTI government would be built on planets and the people would see them through a telescope.
