As tempting as sugary and packaged drinks may be, here are 5 refreshing and delicious drinks that will quench your thirst without making you feel guilty:
1 small sweet watermelon
1 glass water
Sugar (if needed)
Crushed ice
Method:
1- Slice the watermelon in half. Assuming your watermelon isn’t seedless, slice the halves into smaller strips and use a small spoon to scoop out the seeds. Discard the seeds, and scoop chunks of watermelon from the rind into the blender.
2- Blend the watermelon until it is totally pulverized. This shouldn’t take more than a minute. Add some water till the juice is as thick as you like and blend. Add some crushed ice and blend for a few seconds.
Ingredients:
1 kg falsa
2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp black salt (optional)
Method:
1- In a blender, add falsa, water, sugar and blend.
2- Strain the juice before pouring it in glasses.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar
Ice cubes
1 2/3 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tablespoons julienned mint
Method:
1- In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1/4 cup water. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat. Let stand until completely cool.
2- In a blender, add 2 cups water, lemon juice, sugar syrup and mint and blend. Add some crushed ice and blend for a few seconds.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups plain yogurt
6 ice cubes, crushed
1 1/2 cups water
2 teaspoons white sugar
Method:
1- In a blender, blend the yoghurt, ice, water and sugar until the mixture becomes frothy. Pour mixture over ice cubes in tall glasses.

1.5-litre sparkling water/ water
1/2 cucumber, sliced
25 g mint leaves
1 lemon, sliced
Method:
1- Put all the ingredients into a large jug, chill and serve.
