ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said those who plunged the country into an economic crisis are today pointing fingers at us.
Taking to Twitter, Awan said, “The Sharif family destroyed the country with their economic terrorism. With what face are they speaking about going to the masses?”
She continued, “Those who have been destroying the economy for the past 30 years want the masses to suffer even more.”
On Thursday, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif directed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders to run a campaign against the government after Eid.
Nawaz directed party leaders to formulate a strategy and hold meetings with the opposition parties. He also directed the PML-N leaders to take forward his political narrative through the campaign.
