ARIFWALA: A manallegedly shot his wifedead on Monday here in 84-EB, a village on the outskirts of the city, police sources said.
Police sources further said the man was identified asRiaz and the deceased asMaqboolan, a mother of three.
The woman's brother alleged that the couple often got into fights and that the husband killed her while she was asleep.
Police said they have registered a first information report (FIR) against Riaz and two of his accomplices.
