American rapper Kanye West who recently converted to Christianity opened up in a recent interview about embracing Christianity into his music.

In an in-depth interview with Zane Low, West, who is married to American reality TV star Kim Kardashian said, “I am unquestionably, undoubtedly the greatest human artist of all time. It’s just not even a question anymore at this point. It’s just a fact."

On the topic of religion, West said, “Christian innovation, Christian innovators. That’s the net that we’re casting for the organisation that we have now. Am no longer an entertainer. I’m not here for anyone’s entertainment. People say, ‘Oh this is going to kill your brand,’ but my brand is expressing how I feel whether it’s in line with what you thought the brand was even two days ago."

Speaking about his marriage, the 42-year-old said his marriage to Kardashian was a “successful interracial marriage”, as well as a “successful celebrity marriage”. He went onto explain his secret for maintaining a marriage such as this, he revealed, "I have five years of marriage under my belt. What I learned from five years of marriage is, it is the greatest bond, it is a God bond to be able to have someone that you can call on, someone you can call out, someone that can call on you and call you out. Equally yoked. Someone to complain to and someone to grow with as we grow and raise our children."

West is a father to four children; North, aged 6, Saint aged 3, Chicago aged 21 months and Psalm aged 5 months.

Moreover, the rapper said that his support for the current US president had been a way to razz Democrats.

"For the greatest artist in human existence to put a red hat on was God’s practical joke to all liberals. Like, ‘No! Not Kanye!’" said the performer, who has made a very public turn to Christianity in recent months.

West also said he would one day be commander-in-chief: "There will be a time when I will be the president of the US, and I will remember... any founder that didn't have the capacity to understand culturally what we were doing."

West’s ninth album Jesus Is King is out now.
