KARACHI: Sindh's agriculture minister in a letter on Monday asked the federal government to provide three aeroplanes, as well as 32 vehicles, to spray and tackle locusts.

In his letter, he said one plane would not be enough to spray anti-locust chemical in all districts of four divisions. The federal government should provide three more aeroplanes for the spray in wild and desert lands in Sindh.

The provincial minister further noted that it was the federal government's responsibility to import anti-locust medicine and chemicals.
