RAWALPINDI: A fake police case was registered against a domestic worker for allegedly quitting his job and he was subjected to police torture for four days, Geo News reported.
The Police had allegedly detained a young man, Kashif Ali for four days in Civil Lines police station. According to the police station in charge Munsib Mahmood, the man accused was not in police custody and the police was searching for him. On the inspection of the police station by the Geo News team, Kashif Ali was found inside a room.
The mother of the accused said that her son was innocent and he was arrested for quitting his job as a domestic worker. According to the Police, Kashif’s employer Aqeeb registered an FIR against the accused on July 15th according to which Kashif was accused of stealing from him.
