3 killed in Muzaffarabad coalmine blast

MUZAFFARABAD: Three coalmine workers were killed and another three received burn injuries due to a blast in the mine, Geo News reported.

State Disaster Management Authority officials told that the injured workers have been taken out of the mine by completing the rescue operation. The injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital, where they are said to be in critical condition.

The Authority said that the incident occurred due to flawed security and safety arrangements.
