Matric result to be announced on Aug 2

RAWALPINDI: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi will announce the matriculation examination results on August 2, said a BISE spokesperson.

Irslan Cheema said here on Friday that a function in this regard would be held here at 11 a.m. at Government Post Graduate College for Women, 6th Road on August 2, where Acting Chairman BISE, Rawalpindi Dr. Ashraf would formally announce the result.

Earlier, all the Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISEs) in Punjab were scheduled to announce the result on July 21 but the same was postponed at the eleventh hour.

The postponement of the result disappointed thousands of candidates and led to scuffle between the board employees and the students.
