KARACHI: A meeting between Pakistan People's Party leader Babar Awan, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad is underway here at Governor House, Geo News reported.
Earlier Dr. Babar Awan held a one-on-one meeting with Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad at Governor House. Later, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah also joined them there.
According to sources, the three dignitaries held talks on PPP-MQM relations.
Meanwhile, sources said that talks have entered in a final stage for ironing out PPP-MQM differences and MQM's return to the coalition government.
Sources also said that the possibility for the Sindh Government to roll back the commissionerate system and revert to the Local Government set up could not be ruled out.
However, at a press conference following meeting between Dr. Babar Awan and Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad in Islamabad, both the leaders only hinted at progress on matters of functional and administrative matters.
