KABUL: Nineteen people, most of them civilians, were killed and more than 30 others wounded in a suicide and gun attack on an Afghan governor's compound just north of the capital on Sunday, Geo News reported.

Interior ministry spokesman Siddiq Siddiqi told that 14 civilians and five police had been killed with 37 people, mostly civilians, injured.
