Shia organizations to observe Yaum-e-Qudus

HYDERABAD: Shia Ulema Council, Imamia, Asgharia and Jafaria students organizations and other Shia groups have announced observing Yaum-e-Qudus on August 26 against the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Allama Syed Abrar Ali, Allama Imdad Ali Naseemi, Allah Bachayo Nasri and other representatives of these organizations said they would take out a rally from Qadam Gah Mola Ali (RA) and arrange a public meeting outside press club to highlight the issue of Palestine.

"The pioneer of Islamic revolution in Iran Imam Khumaini had declared that last Friday of Ramazan be observed as Yaum-e-Qudus to protest the Israeli brutality on Palestinians," they recalled. (APP)
