PESHAWAR: An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted Rawalpindi among various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the wee hours of Saturday, however no lose of life or property was reported.

According to met office, quake rocked Peshawar, Mardan, Chitral and lower Dir while Rawalpinidi, Haripur, Abbottabad and Tarbela were also struck by earthquake of magnitude 5.5.

People left their house while reciting Kalma Taiyeba.
