No boots will come to Sindh: Shah

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Shah Monday said he would neither confirm nor contradict the statements of Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, but ruled out calling the army to Sindh, Geo News reported.

Talking to media men here, the Federal Minister linked the improvement of law and order situation in Karachi to the role of media.

He said the government would never want a death of even a single innocent person and that it wished to take all the parties on board.

Khursheed Shah said the deadlock with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has melted but any decision will be made after taking the party leadership into confidence.
