BADIN: More than 100 villages were inundated after Zero Point saline drain near Badin overflowed forcing the inhabitants to move towards safer areas, Geo News reported.

According to the sources, the water is flowing four feet above a bridge on Zero Point saline water drain and Pak Army was shifting the locals towards other areas. Dozens of villages were affected due to high flood in Paran Canal.

The situation has become worse in many Sindh districts, including Badin, Mirpurkhas and Khairpur, after heavy rains and the number of affected people keeps increasing. Sindh Irrigation Drainage Authority (SIDA) has issued warning letters to DCOs of Badin, Mirpurkhas and Tharparkar.
