Illegal weapons recovered in Pishin

QUETTA: Levies Force has recovered illegal weapons from Saranan area of Pishin district.

A Levies Force team headed by Risaldar Major Nasibullah Kakar and Tehsildar Matiullah intercepted a suspected vehicle near Saranan town, Levies sources said on Wednesday.

The armed men sitting inside the vehicle opened fire at Levies Force; however, they left the vehicle and weapons and fled when Levies Force personnel retaliated.

After searching the vehicle, the Levies Force recovered two Kalashnikovs and 5500 rounds.
