No agreement to lease engines from India: GM Railways

KARACHI: General Manager Railways Saeed Akhtar said Monday that there was no agreement with India to lease engines, Geo News reported. Akhtar added that 50 engines would be leased from the company with the lowest quote.

Akhtar said companies from India, Korea, China and the US had shown interest in leasing engines to Pakistan. Speaking on the current status of the Railways, Akhtar said that delays had been decreased on the main line.
