Girl student’s excess case: Pre-arrest bail of main accused canceled

LAHORE: The interim bail of the main accused in Shahkot girl student excess case has been terminated and declared absconder for failing to present him in the court.

Four accused including one women and a nominated accused in the case relating to the excesses committed against Shahkot’s village Kotla Kahloon first year girl student have been arrested, while the main accused Shamroze Falak, son of an influential landlord wads on interim bail.

Additional Session Judge, Mahboob Ahmad Khan terminating the interim bail declared Shamroze Falak an absconder for his failing to present him in the court.

Police has claimed that the absconding accused Shamroze Falak would soon be arrested and action taken against him according to the law.

It may be recalled that Shahkot first year girl student was subjected to excesses on September 24 and the administration swung into action after Geo News took up this issue and had arrested four persons including the father of Shamroze Falak.
