Police recover narcotics, weapons

HYDERABAD: In a crackdown on narcotics dealers and robbers, Hyderababd Police have rounded up suspects and recovered weapons and narcotic material from their possession.

According to spokesman of Hyderabad Police here on Tuesday, a wanted dacoit Waryam Laghari has been arrested by police of PS-Tandojam, Hyderabad Rural. Police, he said, raided a place on a tip-off and arrested Laghari, recovering a single barrel gun from his possession.

In a separate raid near Moosa Khatian Link Road, Tandojam police also apprehended a suspected dacoit Jalal Laghari and recovered a double barrel gun.

An alleged narcotics dealer, Shiraz, was arrested from the remit of Phuleli police station with 1,010 grams of Hashish.

Also 1,050 grams of hashish was found in possession of one Jan Sher Khan who was arrested by Cantt police from a place near old DCO House. (APP)
