NAWABSHAH: PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif said Thursday that loadshedding was torture for the people and his party would raise voice in protests against it, Geo News reported.

Sharif added that the PML-N would be willing to take further steps if needed.

Addressing a rally here, the PML-N president said Pakistan’s money should be spent on the people not just one person. “Those affected by the floods should be provided Rs 100,000, loans should be provided to farmers” Sharif said.

Sharif said he was disappointed with President Zardari and that the nation’s destiny could have been changed in 3.5 years.
