Cash, gold ornaments looted from house

FAISALABAD: More than a dozen robbers looted cash and gold ornaments worth about Rs. 1 million from a house in a nearby village here on late Wednesday night.

According to police, as many as 15 armed robbers stormed into the house of Mehr Shareef in Chak No. 56-JB Cchota Ghiala and made the family hostage at gunpoint.

The criminals looted Rs 500,000 in cash, 10-tola gold ornaments and other valuables and fled.

Police registered a case and started investigation. (APP)
