Explosion partly damages Railways Bridge in Quetta

QUETTA: A bomb blast on Saturday night partly damaged a bridge on railway tracks passing through the provincial capital.

"Unknown men had planted explosive material under a bridge on railway tracks passing through 'Joint Road' area and detonated it," police said.

The explosion partly damaged the bridge; however, no loss of life was reported.

Law enforcement personnel rushed to the site and cordoned off the entire area to trace the suspects out.

Further investigation into the incident was underway.
