32 drown as boat capsizes in Sahiwal

SAHIWAL: At least one passenger was killed and 31 went missing after a boat capsized in Lower Bari Doab Canal in Sahiwal, Geo News reported. One dead body has been recovered while the rescue teams are searching for others.

Rescue sources told boat, packed with passengers beyond its capacity, overturned in the canal. Majority of the passengers were college students.
