Target killer arrested from Karachi

KARACHI: Rangers handed over a target killer to the police who was arrested during a search operation in the metropolis, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to police, Rangers raided different areas and arrested Asif Iqbal who was handed over to Clifton police later. The alleged killer is involved in the target killing of 42 people, police said.

The accused has also admitted killing of five passengers who were kidnapped along with a mini bus in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. He is also involved in the killing of Naveed Tanoli, brother of Police Inspector Shafiq Tanoli, police added.
