FBR collects Rs.422 bn revenue in four months

KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs.422 billion during four months as compared to Rs334 billion in the same period in 2010, Geo News reported.

According to FBR, Rs.422 billion tax have been collected during July-October in the current fiscal year. The tax collection registered 26 percent growth as compared to the last year.

The FBR has collected Rs.145 billion in terms of Direct tax, Rs.197 billion in terms of Sale tax, Rs.29 billion in Federal Excise Duty and the custom duty collection was recorded at Rs. 50 billion.
