District core committee reviews Eid arrangements

FAISALABAD: A meeting of District Core Committee was held under the chairmanship of DCO Naseem Sadiq here on Saturday to review Eidul Azha arrangements.

The meeting was attended by DOC Chaudhary Munir Ahmad and core committee members Maulana Muhammad Yousuf Anwar, Hajji Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Mufti Zia Madni, Sahibzada Zahid Mehmood Qasmi, Mehmood Alam Jatt, Syed Jafar Naqvi, Qari Afzal Qadri. Maulana Riaz Kharl, Sahibzada Arif Husain Bukhari, Qari Haneef Bhatti and others.

The DCO appreciated cooperation and efforts of the core committee members for strengthening religious harmony and maintaining the law and order in the district.

He told 12 sales/purchase points had been established in the district for sacrificial animals and necessary security and administrative measures have been taken to facilitate citizens and traders.
