About 6,000 cops to police city on Eid

FAISALABAD: About 6,000 policemen will perform duties here on Eid-ul-Azha.

According to a spokesman of the police department, City Police Officer (CPO) Rai Tahir cancelled leaves of all police officials and directed officers to ensure their presence at designated duty points.

In this connection, a comprehensive security plan has also been chalked out under which officials from constables to DSP will perform duties along with Punjab Constabulary. (APP)
